Weekly Message and Announcements:
Happy MAY!
We released our butterflies this morning! Each student held a butterfly, I will upload pictures to SeeSaw.
The end of the year party will be on Friday, May 24th. Students will be able to wear pajamas, bring a flash light, bring a board game, a blanket to build a fort, AND we will be having a picnic in the classroom :)! It's going to be a great day!!
FRIDAY is MaY MaDnEsS!! Our class color this year is GREEN. Please have your child wear a GREEN shirt on Friday :)! They can also bring a change of clothes since there will be water stations.
I CANNOT believe we have 13 days left!!! Please let me know if you know your child will not be here until the last day of school so I can get any projects and activities ready for them before they leave.
This week in guided reading this week we will be reading short stories and trying to determind the main idea and supporting details. We will also be discussing different inferences we will be making. Please have your child read a book of their choice on at home and complete the reading log. Math homework will go home every Tuesday and Thursday every week.
Thank you all for all your efforts with the peanut free snacks, everyone did great remembering this rule! I appreciate you helping keep our learning environment safe for everyone! REMEMBER snacks that say"May contain" we CANNOT have but if it is "Processed around" we CAN! If you have any questions, let me know!
Thank you to all those of y'all who signed up to be our volunteer this year! We couldn't make this year happen without all your help and support!
